This sweet coffee has the fruit notes being the predominant flavor, which I always find enjoyable. Some Ethiopian roasts have a citrus element, which I do not taste here. However, Ethiopian roasts are always a favorite of mine and this was was a great showing. I will be buying again

Giant Steps — Blue Bottle Coffee Oakland, CA

  • Region: Blend (Uganda, Papa New Guinea, Sumatra)
  • Process: Washed
  • Flavor Notes: Cocoa, Toasted Marshmallow, Graham Cracker

This coffee is a bold dark roast. I was excited for the flavor notes. The cocoa notes are prevalent but the other notes never shone through for me and overall left a lot to be desired.
